Laura and Sara Kring



In the summers of 2016 and 2017, Laura and Sara completed a marketing internship with Live Nation Entertainment in Detroit. Live Nation Entertainment is the global leader in live entertainment with 530 million fans in 30 countries. Sara and Laura's tasks included:

  • Creating and published over 2,000 posts to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat accounts with combined 115,000+ followers, including posting live from 44 concerts 
  • Created social media campaigns and performance analytics
  • Developed and implemented marketing initiative with tour management 
  • Distributed newsletters and e-cards to 80,000+ subscribers for Detroit Concert Update 
  • Ordered and distributed comp tickets to local media outlets and sponsors
  • Entered invoices and created advertising recaps detailing television, radio, digital, print, outdoor and production expenses for tour management 
  • Learned software such as ROME.Music, Spredfast, Box, dm.livenation, TM Live Analytics and Ad Manager for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat
  • Executed events at Detroit area concert venues including, Ford Field, The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre, Meadow Brook, Amphitheatre, Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill and Fox Theatre Detroit. These concerts included Florence + the Machine, Coldplay, OneRepublic, Metallica, New Kids On The Block, and Enrique Iglesias.
